1, Barricane House, Mortehoe

Barricane House passed to Samuel Conibear’s daughter Mary, wife of Philip Gammon, and then to their son Arthur Samuel Conibear Gammon and to my father George Arthur Goodin Gammon.

Samuel Conibear, to ensure that his future son-in-law had bought a proper diamond engagement ring,  used it to write his signature on a pane of glass in the kitchen.  This still exists to this day.

There is a games room and reading room in the ample attics and downstairs there is a kitchen, dining room, sitting room and a boot room for walking coats, boots and golf trolleys.  Wireless broadband access is also provided.  There is a garden front and rear, and car parking is available in the village car park about 100 yards away.
